SOLUTIONS

Protechting is looking for solutions technology driven. Your solution may not be technological and be a winner, but we value the use of cybernetic and artificial intelligence, robot advisory, virtual reality, machine learning, physical and behavioral biometry, domotics, IoT, augmented reality, 3D printing and nanotechnology, Big Data, algorithm & analytics, among other solutions.

Find solutions providing monitoring and mitigation of organizational cyber risk.

Solutions providing a combination of good customer experience, lower fees, faster response rates and quality automated advices.

Improve the different processes available to customer.

CUSTOMER ANALYTICS

Use data and insights from customer behavior to allow companies to deliver a more relevant offer.

CHAT ANALYTICS

Find solutions that are capable of reducing call center costs.

RISK ANALYSIS

Find technology, algorithms, models or other solutions able to contribute for a better risk and damage analysis.

CHRONIC DISEASES

Monitoring and medical care solutions regarding the needs of this kind of patients.

TELEMEDICINE

Develop effective channels using telecommunication and information technology to improve clinical health care from a distance.

APPLICATIONS

Protechting has an evolutionary application process which allows not only evaluators to assess which startups have the best fit for the program, but it’s also useful for you to understand in advance to what extend is the program benefiting you and your business idea.

You’ll have 3 opportunities to show your true potential: an online application, an individual interview and a Bootcamp challenge and this is how it works:

SELECTION & DISCLOSURE

During the selection process, all the applications are evaluated by the main stakeholders and up to 25 startups will be asked to come to Lisbon and integrate the Bootcamp. This evaluation process is done according to:

The quality and innovation of the project;
Quality of the team;
Growth potential and scalability;
Contribute to Fidelidade and Fosun competitiveness and innovation.

BOOTCAMP

The Bootcamp is an entrepreneurship program and an intensive learning experience valuable in itself during which the selected startups will experience in a condensed way what’s like to be in Protecting.

Business Model Innovation;
Design Thinking;
Lean Startup;
Rapid Prototyping.

ACCELERATION

During the 8 weeks of the acceleration phase, up to 15 startups will validate their business ideas in a market-driven context, relying on the support and individual coaching of both Fidelidade / Fosun and Beta-i mentors as well as other invited guests. The team will have access to:

Hands-on, practical workshops;
Business Modelling;
Mentoring sessions and individual support;
Pitch prepraration;
Networking events.

PITCH DAY

This is D day for startups participating on Protechting as they will present the solutions they’ve been working for 2 months at a public event towards investors, media, Fidelidade/Fosun and Beta-i representatives, among other invited guests.

During the event, there will be selected the winners of the program according to the following criteria:

Startups commitment throughout the program;
Solution potential and viability;
Impact on society.

PRIZES & PERKS

INCUBATION AT BETA-I

All final projects with benefit from incubation at Beta-i with access to further mentoring with some of the most compelling personalities within the management and marketing entrepreneurship industry. They will also benefit from a complete insurance service package from Fidelidade.

ROADSHOW TO CHINA

The three best solutions will get the chance to participate in a roadshow in China with access to some of the largest global investors. They may also receive investment.

10.000€

Beyond a 10.000€ cash prize, the winner may benefit from investment.
